Nostalgic Tunes is a badge in the Nintendo Switch remake of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. It can be bought from the Lovely Howz of Badges for 1 coin. The badge visually resembles a Nintendo GameCube console. Similarly to the Attack FX badges, it costs 0 BP to equip.

If Mario is equipped with the badge, the background music will change to the original music from the original GameCube version of the game similarly to the feature in the Nintendo Switch remake of Super Mario RPG. The selection or deselection of the badge takes effect the moment that the pause menu is closed. While the badge is equipped, the Sound Gallery goes into a Nostalgic Tunes mode, indicated by the badge's icon in the upper-right corner of the screen. Selecting songs will play their version from the original game, while the new songs will be visibly grayed out and not selectable in the menu.
