Dark Baker, Princess Peach: Showtime!

The Dark Baker is a boss appearing in Princess Peach: Showtime! in the stage The Dark Baker & the Bewitching Sweets. It is a large baker that works for Grape and is part of the Sour Bunch.

At the start of the stage, the Dark Baker possesses the Patissiere Sparkla. Patissiere Peach is then challenged by the corrupted Sparkla to create a triple-layered character cake. After Peach wins and the Patissiere Sparkla is cleansed, the two try to find an exit. They eventually find one, but curtains close over it. The Dark Baker then reveals itself and challenges the two to a cookie bake-off, promising to release them if they win. Whoever fills their plates with stacks of cookies first will win.

During the competition, the Dark Baker jumps and Ground Pounds between the bowls, knocking away anyone who may be where the boss lands. It can also use a mixer to bake lots of cookies at once. After Patissiere Peach and the Patissiere Sparkla win the bake-off, the Dark Baker becomes angry and declares that the taste of the cookies is more important than speed. The two patissieres then bake one giant cookie for the Dark Baker to eat. While eating the cookie, the baker becomes overwhelmed by the flavor and distinegrates, which also causes the curtains to disappear and allow Peach and the Sparkla to escape.
