Mario Sunshines is Mario's Baseball Team in Mario Superstar Baseball. Mario Sunshines also has numerous other names, including Mario Fireballs, Mario Heroes, and Mario All-Stars. When the Sub-Captain, Luigi, heads the team, it is called Luigi Gentlemen, Luigi Vacuums, Luigi Mansioneers, or Luigi Leapers. Although the team can consist of any character the player wants during Exhibition Game, the Team Members are set at the beginning of Challenge Mode. Mario Sunshines' stadium is the Mario Stadium, which is where most of the Baseball Games are held in the Super Mario franchise.

Mario Super Sluggers
In Mario Super Sluggers, the team is now called Mario Fireballs, also known as Luigi Knights when Luigi heads the team. It consists of the original nine teammates, with some new additions as well. The team is mostly composed of characters who live on Isle Delfino. However, it is also composed of the Mario Bros., Monty Mole, and new members, Blooper and the Baby Mario Bros.. They are well balanced in both defense and offense. Luigi, Piantas, and Nokis share good chemistry with Mario. However, some also operate well with other teams, such as the Peach Monarchs (Mario, Luigi, Pianta, Noki, Blooper, Baby Mario, Baby Luigi), Yoshi Eggs (Mario, Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, Monty Mole, Blooper), and Wario Muscles (Monty Mole, Blooper). In Challenge Mode, all Mario Fireball members are found in Mario Stadium, and upon finding all 12 teammates, the player will be able to play against the Mario Fireballs in a game at Mario Stadium.
