Nintendo World Championships 1990 is a specialized Nintendo Entertainment System cartridge only ever used for the Nintendo World Championships held from March 8, 1990 to December 9, 1990, in 29 cities across the United States of America. It features one Super Mario game, Super Mario Bros., as well as Rad Racer, and Tetris as the other two games. The Super Mario Bros. challenge gave players 99 lives, although they had to collect 50 coins in the shortest time possible. All three games were only playable for six minutes and 21 seconds each, but this was adjustable via DIP switches on the cartridge.
