Shell Stack is a single-player minigame found in Mario Party Advance.

Gameplay

The player simply has to jump on the stack of shells as moving pipes shoot more on top. As the player jumps on more shells consecutively, they fly across the screen quicker. The color of the pipe and shell determines the shell's speed. Green Shells are the slowest, followed by yellow and then orange, with red being the fastest. If the player misses or gets hit by a shell, the game ends.

In the Shroom City mode, the player must stack ten shells in 60 seconds to win. In Mini-Game Attack, the player has only 30 seconds to stack ten shells. In these versions, being hit by a shell or missing a shell only temporarily stuns the player for about three seconds.

Trivia

Early Shell Stack
  • In the pre-release version of this minigame, the pipes were originally Bill Blasters. Additionally, the player character faced the blasters instead of at the front of the screen.
