Schnautzels[1] are boar enemies appearing in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and its Nintendo Switch port. They only appear in the Autumn Heights levels Windmill Hills and Horn Top Hop. Their name is a portmanteau of the German words Schnauze ("snout") and Schnitzel ("fried meat"), as well as the English word "snot".
