A Garbage Block

Garbage blocks are obstacles appearing in Tetris Attack. Depending on the side of the player, a garbage block is colored either red or blue. The size of the block depends on how many panels a player clears in a set amount of time. More cleared panels result in a bigger garbage block. To clear them, the player must clear panels that are touching it. This causes the bottom-most row of the garbage block to turn into regular panels. If additional garbage blocks are directly touching the affected garbage block, the bottom-most row of those blocks are affected as well.
