The Paon Corporation, Ltd. is a Japanese video game company founded on January 20, 1999. Following the departure of Rare from Nintendo, Paon received the rights to work and build upon the Donkey Kong franchise. Thus far, they have presented fans with games such as DK: King of Swing, DK: Jungle Climber, and Donkey Kong Barrel Blast. Paon also co-developed Mario & Luigi: Dream Team alongside AlphaDream and released games for the Wii Virtual Console.
