Toad's tent[1] (known as a "shop" in the manual)[2] is a game mechanic and location in Mario Pinball Land. It is run by the character Toad and is similar to an Item Shop. Mario has to run into Toad to enter and buy something. After he does, or simply leaves, the tent vanishes until Mario comes to the area again.
Prices for items
- Pipe = 10 coins (or one Blue Coin at the Fun Fair)
- Mega Mushroom = 10 coins
- Mini Mushroom = 10 coins
- Invincibility Star = 30 coins
- Lightning = 30 coins
- Yoshi Egg = 20 coins
- 1-UP Mushroom = 100 coins (or 25 Blue Coins at the Fun Fair)
- Question mark (after the 1-Up is purchased) = 50 coins (or 10 Blue Coins at the Fun Fair)
- Chain Chomp game = one Blue Coin (the Fun Fair)
- Bullet Bill game = two Blue Coins (the Fun Fair)
- Bob-omb game = three Blue Coins (the Fun Fair)
