Jamano, simply referred to as "the piratical boss"[1] on the English website, is the ghost pirate boss who faces Wario in Wario Land 3. He fights Wario in The Stagnant Swamp. Upon entering his arena, four skulls appear from the four corners of the painting where Jamano originally appears in, and will fly towards the room's corners to cover the lamps. The room will turn pitch black, and all that will be visible will be Jamano, the skulls, and Wario himself. The boss himself will slowly pursue Wario. If at any time Wario is caught by the boss, Wario will be hauled outside to where the swamp is. In order to light up the room, Wario must use a Dash Attack on the skulls to knock them away. The boss will struggle more, the more lamps are uncovered. After each skull is knocked off, it will take five seconds to regenerate and another three seconds to fly back in position, making the room darker.
After the four skulls are removed to make the room light up the brightest, Jamano will be disintegrated and leaves behind his pirate hat, which will then float to the top of the room and bob up and down, allowing Wario to ride it to reach the Green Chest containing the red music box.
