Approval[edit]
Hi, is it okay if I go ahead and move your draft into article space? It's just...I think it looks ready enough to be acceptable as an article. (T|C) 14:07, May 15, 2020 (EDT)
- Thank you for the offer, but I felt that it's not done yet. It's true that I have already had the content down, but the article might currently be unpolished. Winstein (talk) 14:59, May 15, 2020 (EDT)
Images[edit]
When you mass-upload images and don't put them anywhere in a radius of 24 hours, they end up clogging the Special: UnusedFiles, so can you at least put the files somewhere first? (if you are not busy at the time) I aslo have to clear them when you do that --DarkNight 16:43, September 2, 2020 (EDT)
I will eventually get around to making new pages for them to make use of the images.Winstein (talk) 00:54, September 5, 2020 (EDT)
DMW worlds[edit]
Hey, thanks for all of those world articles. Just remember to mark the old userspace redirect ("User:Winstein/World [number] (Dr. Mario World)") for deletion with {{delete}} after you've moved the page as it's not necessary for mainspace pages. Mario JC 07:02, December 5, 2020 (EST)
I just want to congratulate you on all this hard work. The game’s playerbase is relatively barren, so there already wasn’t much interest to fill out the wiki with relevant information; couple that with its timed-event nature and services ending later this year, and much of its history would have been lost had it not been for your efforts to document it thoroughly. Hang in there, you’re on home stretch! -- KOOPA CON CARNE 09:09, August 1, 2021 (EDT)
- Thank you for your compliment, but I have to mention that some of the information aren't likely to be complete because there is a good deal of things I have missed (arrival packs is one, which I will not add because I missed out on a section of them), and the main editor for the Dr. Mario World wiki retired last year so the information that he would put would not be complete. Dr. Mario 64[edit]
It appears as though you accessed it only in 1 player mode. I only have access to N64 online but holding R as any controller set it as everyone.
- I have decided to check for 2 players and see the results. The results are: (1) P1 and P2 will adjust the settings for everyone, meaning that human players can adjust for everyone; (2) If P3, a CPU, is highlighted, it will not change for P1 and P2; (3) If P4 (CPU) is selected, it does not change anybody's settings. Based on the discovery, it would seem that it does not change for everybody if a CPU player is highlighted. Winstein (talk) 09:07, March 9, 2022 (EST)
Wario (franchise)#Literature[edit]
This section needs to be rewroten, due to some misinformation and errata (bolded):
Several Wario mangas have been published as part of various Japanese video game magazines; the longest-running of these, GO Ketsu Wario, was published in Dengeki Nintendo DS from 2007 to 2011 and was a gag strip initially featuring the cast of Wario: Master of Disguise before being retooled to focus on Wario Land: Shake It!. A one-off manga based on WarioWare: Touched! simply titled Made in Wario was published as an extra in the March 2005 issue of Comic Bom Bom. Another short gag-striped based on Touched!, Waiwai! Wario, was published in the February 2006 issue of Famitsu DS+Wii and dealt with Mona's attempt to get Wario to keep his promise to take her to her concert. Wario also guest stars in Wario to Saikyō Tag da Fii!, a chapter of the manga adaptation of The Legendary Starfy based on his appearance in Densetsu no Stafy 3.
I’m concerned about the Made in Wario (manga) part. It is actually loosely based on Touched, not an adaptation full on of Touched. Plus, Dr Crygor is not wearing his red Touched costume, and Mona ain’t wearing her Hot Slices suit. Touched characters never appeared in said manga whatsoever. Perhaps, a brief summary of Made in Wario would do matters.
PS. The plural of manga is manga. PnnyCrygr 04:44, May 1, 2023 (EDT)
