Template:Levelbox Magma Road Marathon is the twenty-sixth level of Episode 3 in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and its Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS ports of the same name .
Layout
This level takes place on a rocky path above lava. Captain Toad must use Dash Pads to progress through this level, while also watching out for the Charvaarghs. The rocky path is fairly linear, with a few path splits leading to the Super Gems.
Super Gems
Wii U / 3DS
- Super Gem 1: On the first split in the rocky road, the player must go left to get to the Super Gem.
- Super Gem 2: On top of a Propellor Platform about one-fourth of the way through the level.
- Super Gem 3: In a secret area away from the main path. The player must use a Clear Pipe Cannon to reach it.
Switch
- Super Gem 1: On the first split in the rocky road, the player must go left to get to the Super Gem.
- Super Gem 2: In a secret area away from the main path. The player must use a Clear Pipe Cannon to reach it.
- Super Gem 3: At the circular fork-in-the-road found shortly after the Clear Pipe Cannon.
Bonus Objective
- Collected 150 coins!
Enemies
Pixel Toad
The Pixel Toad can be found jumping in and out of the lava in the center of the circular fork-in-the-road next to the third Super Gem.
Luigi Sighting
A hidden 8-bit Luigi can be seen on the ledge behind the level's Power Star.
