Big Cutout Soldiers are black papery enemies that appear in Paper Mario: The Origami King. They were created by the Scissors, and can only be found in Bowser's Castle after Olivia has been captured. They can perform three different attacks: Big Chain of Pain, Stacked Fist and Flat Fist. Big Chain of Pain is only performed when there is a large group of Big Cutout Soldiers; they surround Mario and quickly close in on him, with each Big Cutout Soldier performing the attack dealing 13-16 damage. With Stacked Fist, they put themselves in a stack and punch Mario with their combined arms. Flat Fist is performed by a single soldier, and is a simple punch that deals 10-14 damage.
Big Cutout Soldiers can no longer be fought after the Scissors is defeated.
There are also smaller variants called Li'l Cutout Soldiers. Both variants and Handaconda are depicted in Collectible Treasure No. 111: Cutout Soldiers.
