This article is about Vanishing Ghost House, a level in New Super Luigi U. For other uses, see Meringue Clouds-Ghost House.

Template:Levelbox Vanishing Ghost House, or Meringue Clouds-Ghost House, is the Ghost House of Meringue Clouds in New Super Luigi U. It is unlocked by completing Stonecrush Tower and its own competion unlocks Above the Bouncy Clouds, Flame Chomp Ferris Wheel and Three-Headed Snake Block.

Layout

The player comes in the Ghost House, with the platforms disappearing behind them. The ? Blocks and an Obake Block are found, followed by a moving platform. More ? Blocks and Obake Blocks are encountered as the platform moves to the right. Another disappearing platform is found, and is followed by another moving platform, which moves quickly downward. Another section of disappearing platforms and Obake Blocks follows. A fake Warp Door appears at the end of the area, with a real Warp Door found in a fake wall. The door leads to the area with the Goal Pole, where another Obake Block and ? Blocks are found.

Star Coins

  • Star Coin 1: The first Star Coin is located near the beginning of the level, above the rotating platform. The player must jump on top of a ? Block in order to collect the Star Coin.
  • Star Coin 2: The second Star Coin is found prior to the door out of the ghost house, and the player can either glide from the visible door or hop on a ? Block to collect it.
  • Star Coin 3: Under the door out of the ghost house is a hidden area with the third Star Coin behind stairs.

Secret Exit

After the second rotating block drops down, the player should jump to the left to find a secret door. This leads to the secret platform, which accesses a shortcut to Ludwig's Block-Press Castle. King Boo makes a cameo here using his Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon appearance. He appears on the front of a sign hanging on the side of the building.

Luigi Sighting

  • If the player takes the secret exit route, they will see a picture of King Boo and Luigi, which references their artwork from Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.
