Perspective Mode is an extra mode in Mario Party 9. It is only playable with one human, and there are ten minigames to clear. Unlike in Free Play mode, each minigame gives the player two party points.
Format
Players start with only one minigame unlocked. Minigames are played with the camera right behind the character the players are controlling. Whenever the players clear a minigame, they are given a new one, as well as two party points. After clearing all ten, the players are given a bonus of 100 party points. The computers are selected randomly.
Minigames
- Tumble Temple
- Logger Heads
- Ring Leader
- Magma Mayhem
- Pianta Pool
- Piranha Patch
- Skyjinks, modified so that the player has only one life and the camera no longer scrolls automatically.
- Plunder Ground
- Billistics
- Mob Sleds, as solo player.
