Z-Bananas are a type of Banana that appear on the DK's Jungle Ruins board in Mario Party 9. They are purple-colored bananas acting as the equivalent to Mini Ztars (or regular Ztars) on this board. Like Bananas, Z-Bananas appear singularly or in bunches across the board, and collecting one causes the player to lose one Banana, and collecting a bunch causes them to lose three. It is possible to receive Z-Bananas in the second Captain Event of DK's Jungle Ruins, but there are none in the Boss Minigames of the board.
