Template:Quote2 Kong POW is a move used by Donkey Kong and another Kong in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze that turns all onscreen enemies into a specific item.
A yellow meter on the top-left corner of the screen determines if the Kongs can use Kong POW. As the Kongs collect bananas, the meter fills up. Once they collect 100 bananas and a Kong is on Donkey Kong's back, the duo can use the ability. The enemies transform into a different item depending on which Kong is with Donkey Kong: Diddy Kong turns enemies into Red Balloons, Dixie Kong turns them into Gold Hearts, and Cranky Kong turns them into Banana Coins. The move cannot be used without another Kong, when riding a vehicle, when inside a Barrel Cannon, or while holding an object.
In Multiplayer mode, Kong POW can be initiated if both players press the same button on their controllers.
Kong POW could be a pun on "kung pao" chicken, a type of Chinese delicacy.
