They are small white spheres with eyes, and in the 2D styles, have small hair-like protrusions around their bodies. They spin around along the ground producing a large tornado above them, which can lift both the player and enemies.
In some early shots in trailers, they had a cloudy appearance resembling a Foo blowing the air upwards, but were redesigned. This design seems to have been entirely overwritten, as it is not present in the final game's data.[2]
