m (no need, a "race over lava" IS a "lava race" - best for us to drop the nonsense about the Eng/JA names meaning anything different, this isn't Bulbapedia where e.g. they like to pretend that moves such as Flamethrower mean anything different between Eng/JA)

Three-Legged Lava Race is a Boost Mode Challenge in New Super Mario Bros. U.

Objective

In this challenge, the player on the Wii U GamePad creates Boost Blocks for the player controlling the character. The player controlling the character walks/runs across the Boost Blocks while avoiding the lava below to reach the Goal Pole. The lava will rise and fall to make the challenge more difficult. Munchers are the only enemies that appear in this challenge.
