Interesting rename scenario
Hi, so even though the I Spy microgame was renamed to "Busted!", now it shares its name with a microgame from Twisted!. For the game identifier I inevitably have to use, should I use the identifier for Mega Microgame$! or for Gold? (T|C) 00:57, 6 August 2018 (EDT)
- Another scenario: Classic Clash III should be renamed to Classic Clash since that's it's most recent name, but since Classic Clash I and Classic Clash II are also similar microgames originating from the same game as III, how should the disambiguation ({{about}} template or otherwise) be set up to avert confusion between the articles? (T|C) 19:53, 8 August 2018 (EDT)
- Probably the hardest scenario yet: Super Mario Bros. 3-Lift was renamed to "Super Mario Bros. 3", but another microgame originates in the same game and in the same category. Plus, using the commands as possible identifiers won't work either since the latter microgame has drastically varying commands. What should we do? (T|C) 18:18, 15 August 2018 (EDT)
User rename
Can you rename me? It is already on MarioWiki:Changing username. Bramblecloud 10:25, 12 August 2018 (EDT)
Changes
Hi, would you mind making changes to MarioWiki:Categories § Size and scope as per this proposal? Thanks! (T|C) 00:01, 14 August 2018 (EDT)
MS-DOS games
Changing the capitalization removes the link from the Category:MS-DOS games page and moves it to Category:MS-DOS Games. Should I replace the "games" page with the "Games" page? rollerC (talk) 03:42, 14 August 2018 (EDT)
- Sorry about that! Thanks for the help, and I'll keep the colon thing in mind for the future. rollerC (talk) 03:57, 14 August 2018 (EDT)

Priority
Hi, since you undid my recent move, maybe you should take a look at this scenario too, as it's similar. Just saying. (T|C) 10:59, 15 August 2018 (EDT)
- The point I was trying to make here (and maybe I should have clarified this) was: should Goose from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door take priority over the goose from The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!, since the latter has a conjectural name? (T|C) 13:17, 16 August 2018 (EDT)
RE: Proposal
I made the move as you requested, thanks!
As for the Dinosaur proposal, yeah, somehow I completely missed Doc's point. Yeah, I'll add the stuff regarding the Super Mario World cartoon into the proposal. (T|C) 13:08, 16 August 2018 (EDT)
- I added on to the proposal, if you'd like to look at it again. (T|C) 13:50, 16 August 2018 (EDT)
- Sure, but it would help if that dino's official name was found, in an official strategy guide for Mario Kart: Double Dash!! / Mario Kart 7 or elsewhere. (T|C) 08:26, 17 August 2018 (EDT)
Remake
Hence why I said "main." I don't consider All Night Nippon, All-Stars, or Advance 1, 2, or 4 to be part of the "main" series either. As for the Land games, I have a discussion going on here, but little seems to have come from it. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 00:26, 19 August 2018 (EDT)
Similar?
Would it be safe to consider Mario Paint - Flyswatter from WarioWare Gold the same as Mario Paint: Fly Swatter from WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!? Even though both microgames are based on Gnat Attack from Mario Paint and Super Mario Maker, not only do they require a slightly different control scheme, they also play slightly different from each other: "Fly Swatter" is more of a "time it right" microgame, while "Flyswatter" is more of a "quickly tap the objects" microgame. I'm just asking to be safe. (T|C) 17:39, 20 August 2018 (EDT)
- Additionally, is it okay to say that Stylus Hunt from WarioWare Gold is the same as Pushing Buttons from WarioWare: Touched!? It's now limited to just finding a stylus on various 3DS models, but I don't think that's a good enough argument for considering them different. (T|C) 17:47, 20 August 2018 (EDT)
Other page move
Hi, would you mind moving Tomodachi Life (microgame) to Tomodachi Life without leaving a redirect? It clearly takes priority over the stage, and I feel it would just speed things up if there was an admin involved in this move. Thanks! (T|C) 17:15, 22 August 2018 (EDT)
- Never mind, Alex95 beat you to it. On a side note, should the Booster character necessarily take priority over the Booster item? (T|C) 17:49, 22 August 2018 (EDT)
Musics
You say that don't hear the music from Alpine Incline in ground and Skowl. Well, here those musics:
PS: You listen to see that I'm not making up.

Section
Hi, just wondering why you removed the section in the WarioWare Gold article in this edit. I'm just wondering because a similar section exists in the Mario Party: The Top 100 article. (T|C) 02:54, 24 August 2018 (EDT)
- Well, to be fair, I am working on it as a draft right now. (T|C) 03:03, 24 August 2018 (EDT)
Useful?
Hi, sorry to bother you again, but is this disambiguation page even useful? All it does is list second installments in every single game series that Donkey Kong stars in, and the only thing officially named "Donkey Kong 2" is the level in Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge. That said, is it okay if that disambiguation page is deleted under the grounds of being useless (and a clean slate for a new article)? (T|C) 00:16, 25 August 2018 (EDT)

email for the account recovery we discussed.
Please delete this part of your talk page after you read it. I don't need everyone seeing one of my email addresses, even if it's one I only have until I disenroll from college. Once my password is reset I'll probably change it to a different email (if only to avoid a repeat of this email reset dance), but that's contingent on a successful reset happening. Thanks for the help!
(For an extra layer of security, I hid the email in a wikitext comment)

Priority
Hi, I'm wondering if the Grinder and Skewer from the Super Mario series should take priority, since they appear in far, far, far more games than the respective entities being disambiguated by it. That's not to mention that, a year ago, Porplemontage insisted on the Gold Ring from New Super Mario Bros. 2 to take priority over the Gold Ring from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, even though both only appeared in one game.
On another note, should the Avalanche! minigame from Mario Party 4 necessarily take priority over the Avalanche! minigame from Dance Dane Revolution: Mario Mix? (T|C) 17:24, 31 August 2018 (EDT)
My signature
And now, does it fit for the box? --FanOfYoshi (talk) 08:06, 1 September 2018 (EDT)
Balloon (Mini Battle)
That "Balloon" isn't a minigame; rather, it's an object seen in two different minigames, so Balloon (WarioWare: Smooth Moves) should, in my opinion, be moved back. (T|C) 21:50, 2 September 2018 (EDT)
Done renaming DKC2 images
Ok mariojc, i'm done renaming the DKC2 images from the gallery. You can check here to see which original filenames to remove, and there are some additional things to be deleted, including a revision. There's also a few rename requests, when i found out that the levels were Bonus Areas, and obviously cannot move it back. Anyway, really big effort, and i apologize for all of these double edits in the process. Results May Vary (talk) 02:10, 4 September 2018 (EDT)
- Also, doing DKL2 photos at the moment. i'm aware that alex deleted some photos early, and that i'll repair the gallery. luckily it's nighttime in the usa, so it's probably not going to be noticed by many. how does this sound ? Results May Vary (talk) 00:03, 5 September 2018 (EDT)
- Yeah, I do work fast. I've tried to check file usage--it's harder to check the links to a deleted filename. Alex had to leave early I believe so he deleted some before I was done. Results May Vary (talk) 09:32, 5 September 2018 (EDT)
- Additionally, it is difficult to keep track of like hundreds of different images, so that's probably the cause of some of the mistakes. Thanks for fixing those links too. Results May Vary (talk) 09:43, 5 September 2018 (EDT)
- Ok, so this time i've been moving filenames, and have been using Special:log/move to keep track of the files that i've been renaming. there's some deletion-tagged photos because i replaced some jpg to png photos with the original jpg's. thanks Results May Vary (talk) 09:43, 6 September 2018 (EDT)

Flipper
Hi, so for the flippers in the Waluigi Pinball race course, should I write about them in the existing Flipper article, or should I split them into their own article? I'm just wondering because they both resemble generic pinball flippers. (T|C) 18:25, 8 September 2018 (EDT)

Hey Mario jc! Is my signature usable as a raw code right now? Fan (in red), is for my userpage, Of (in blue) is for my talk page, and Yoshi (in green is for my contributions). -- FanOfYoshi 10:20, 11 September 2018 (EDT)

Should i warn him? Or is it a vandal that is evading a ban? -- FanOfYoshi 01:35, 12 September 2018 (EDT)
- Don't worry! I see recent changes, you blocked him, and specified the reason. Was he evading a ban after vandalism? -- FanOfYoshi 01:43, 12 September 2018 (EDT)
I heard they will merge the DK wiki with this Wiki
And everyone who has an account on DK Wiki will move to MarioWiki.
Users such as Pdjr9000 have an account on DK Wiki but were banned here a long time ago. How does moving work for them may I ask?

MTA official renders
Hi, between Template:Media link and Template:Media link, which should stay and which should go? A similar situation exists with Birdo images for this game. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 02:36, 15 September 2018 (EDT)
- I take it you mean the .jpg ones go? I asked both XD Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 15:03, 15 September 2018 (EDT)
- OK then. Thanks for protecting Peachette, I was worried I might come off as being too rude in the edit summary, but I was just tired of seeing it happen. I probably should have requested it from the get-go, since it's practically a neon sign for vandals. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 20:53, 15 September 2018 (EDT)
