Mud Troopers are zombie-like enemies in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. They have yellow eyes, blue hair, red shoes, and tan bodies. When they see Captain Toad or Toadette, they will slowly chase after them and make a distinct noise. Mud Troopers often appear in groups.
They can be defeated by landing on them, throwing a Turnip at them, or using a Super Pickaxe. Players can also lure Chargin' Chucks to run through several Mud Troopers. Flaptors can also defeat Mud Troopers when they attack. Staring at one long enough with a turned-on headlamp can temporarily disable them; however, they will soon rematerialize.
