Green Finleys receive a resemblance from both wrasses and anglerfish, due to their wide mouths edged by thick lips, and plump rectangular structures that seem to narrow towards their very small tail fins. Two minuscule and confused eyes surround a short dorsal fin, which at length tops their heads. Behind their lips, one can see two curved gills, each for every end of the lip, that stand as lines for their large jaws. Their pectoral fins are rather low in position, as they are located at the bottom of the gills.
Green Finleys resemble both wrasses and anglerfish, owing to their wide mouths, minuscule eyes and plump rectangular bodies. They are the least common species in the Finley group, being only found in a few levels throughout the game, and behave differently each time. They first show up in the battle with Pompy, where he tosses them from the water onto the arena. Once there, Green Finleys start leaping aggigatedly, chasing the Kongs to damage them. However, the player can either dodge them long enough before they retreat willingly in the water, or stomp them once to defeat them.

Green Finleys are as uncommon as varied in role they are. Indeed, they form the most uncommon members of the Finley group, and are found in only a few levels throughout the game. On the other hand, they serve (slightly) different functions with each stance. They first show up in the battle with Pompy, where the migthy sea lion tosses them from the water onto the arena. Here, Green Finleys leap continuously on the ground as they follow the Kongs; in their way, the fish foes might hit the primates, which lose a heart from the health counter if so happened. However, the fish enemies can be taken out either if the player dodges them long enough so they fall willingly back into the water, or if they get stomped one time.
Other Green Finleys appear in Twilight Terror, a level from Bright Savannah. Here, they jump out of the water right when the Kongs pass by on their Rocket Barrel, carrying various items enclosed inside bubbles. The Kongs can either collect the items, or crash into the enemy, which results in damaging both the Green Finley and the Rocket Barrel.

The Kongs can either collect the items, or crash into the enemy, which results in damage on both sides.
A single Green Finley makes an appearance in Cannon Canyon, where it repeatedly jumps out of the water with an N letter on its lips, much like the Green Finleys in Twilight Terror. This stance is distinct because the Kongs cannot interact with the fish in any way, since they are carried by a Barrel Cannon whose launch trajectory does not interfere with the Finley. Instead, they could wait inside the cannon and launch themselves with precision, so they could collect the N letter that jumps up and down in the river stream, depending on the Finley's movements.

Green Finleys at Big Top Bop in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
Pompy throws a handful of Green Finleys on the battle arena.

Green Finleys[1] are aquatic species pertaining to the Finley group in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. In spite of this, they resemble neither blue nor red Finleys in appearance, and appear in completely different stances in the game.
