Template:Levelbox Dark and Stormy is the fifth level of World Star in Super Mario Run. It can only be played after the player completes Cutting-Edge Spire with at least sixty seconds left on the timer.

Layouts

Pink Coins

The level begins with a few ? Blocks, as well as a few Boos. The first Pink Coin is found within the third group of Boos, and the player must simply jump over the Boos to collect it. After many more groups of Boos, the second Pink Coin can be obtained by jumping on a trampoline surrounded by Hard Blocks. After passing another trampoline and two grey warp pipes, the third Pink Coin is obtainable simply by jumping over the next group of Boos. The player will then jump across a series of grey warp pipes, with the fourth Pink Coin atop the very last pipe. Afterwards, the player must then hit a pink P Switch and jump up two stationary Lifts to reach the fifth and final Pink Coin. The player must then follow a Hard Block staircase to the Goal Pole.

Purple Coins

The level begins with a few ? Blocks, as well as a few Boos. The first Purple Coin is found within the third group of Boos, and the player must carefully jump over the Boos to collect it. After many columns of Hard Blocks, the second Purple Coin can be obtained by jumping on a trampoline surrounded by Hard Blocks. After passing another trampoline and three grey warp pipes, the third Purple Coin is obtainable simply by hitting the center of three Brick Blocks. The player will then jump across a series of grey warp pipes, and can collect the fourth Purple Coin by wall jumping in between two pipes nearing the end of the segment. Afterwards, the player must then hit a pink P Switch and jump up two stationary Lifts, riding the second one downwards to reach the fifth and final Purple Coin. The player must then follow a Hard Block staircase to the Goal Pole.

Black Coins

The level begins with a few ? Blocks, as well as a few Boos. The first Black Coin is found within the third group of Boos, and the player must carefully jump over the Boos to collect it. After many more groups of Boos, the second Black Coin can be obtained by waiting at a Pause Block until another lightning strike occurs, then jumping at just the right moment. After passing a trampoline and a single grey warp pipe, the third Black Coin is obtainable simply by hitting the center-right of five Brick Blocks. The player will then jump across a series of grey warp pipes, and can collect the fourth Purple Coin by anticipating a lightning strike, then wall jumping to enter a gap where a Boo was prior to the strike. Afterwards, the player must then hit a pink P Switch and jump up two stationary Lifts, riding the second one upwards to reach the fifth and final Black Coin. The player must then follow a Hard Block staircase to the Goal Pole.
