The Bow is an item in the PC release of Mario's Time Machine. It is the violin bow used by composer Joseph Haydn. It is given to Mario after he travels back in time time to Vienna circa 1791 by an opera singer, who angrily gives it to him and orders him to return the Bow to its rightful owner (without telling him who its owner is). Conveniently, Haydn mentions to Mario that he is missing his violin bow. Once the Bow is returned to Haydn, he thanks Mario, as he can now continue packing for his move to London, and he continues to talk to Mario about his friend and fellow composer, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
