Template:Species-infobox Gūrindai are sub-species of Spiny Eggs. They only appear in New Super Mario Bros. U, in the level Blooming Lakitus, and in New Super Luigi U, in the levels Spinning Sandstones and Beanstalk Jungle, where they are thrown by Lakitus. Upon landing, they grow into Piranha Plants rather than a Spiny.
"Gūrindai" is derived from yet another part of the folktale character Jugemu's name.
