Luigi Mansion Arcade[1] (named Luigi's Mansion Arcade outside of Japan) is an arcade game and a semi-remake of Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon for the Nintendo 3DS. Developed and published by Capcom, it is the fifth game to feature Luigi as the main character, and it is also one of the few Nintendo-based arcade games released in the current generation. It was revealed by Sega in early 2015[2], and was released in Japan during the summer of 2015. In the United States, like with Mario Kart Arcade GP DX, the game is being tested at Dave & Buster's locations before receiving an official release.[3]
Gameplay
The game's controls use a custom controller based on the Poltergust 5000. This controller has two buttons (one to use the light, one for the vacuum), and can be shook to suck in the attacking ghosts.
Gameplay wise, the game is a cross between the traditional Luigi's Mansion-styled mechanics and the rail shooter mechanics of a Light Gun game. The player cannot choose where to go, and is instead led through the mansions to encounters with groups of ghosts, with the places and enemies based on those featured in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.
The game can be played with two people, the second player controlling a Luigi with inverted colors. [4]

- Some rooms in this game are rearranged or removed to fit this game and its style of gameplay.
- Normal Greenies have 3 HP instead of 10.
References to other games
- Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon: This game is based on it, featuring the same locations, enemies, art style and music.
- Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U: Player 2's color palette is based on Luigi's seventh alternate costume.
