Talk:Luigi's Mansion Arcade
Can someone find footage of the two other difficulty levels for this game?
Because I found some videos showing one playthrough, which featured three mansions (Gloomy Manor, Old Clockworks and Treacherous Mansion) and three bosses (Poltergeist, Three Sisters, King Boo), but I'm curious whether the other two mansions or any of the other bosses appear on different difficulty levels. Anyone know enough Japanese to verify this?
Only 3 Mansions[edit]
I've been to a Dave & Busters location and played this game all the way through, but it seems there are only 3 mansions in the game. The Haunted Towers and the Secret Mine are absent, so I was wondering why these are listed. DarkBowser777(talk) 19:51, 7 March 2017 (EST)
- Perhaps due to a lack of information. Feel free to make any changes you may have noticed during your playthrough. 19:53, 7 March 2017 (EST)

An official source has been found, and policy states this should be moved anyway.
This would make it consistent with most articles describing games on this wiki. It has also been released outside Japan.

Support[edit]
- Digibutter (talk) - As stated.
- Alex95 (talk) - Seems to be some valid references for an English name in the comments below, and policy states it should be moved to the English name anyway, so per Digibutter.

@Time Turner: The game in fact, HAS been released outside of Japan and is named Luigi's Mansion Arcade here in North America. Here's proof: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSDmLy0gTL0. – Owencrazyboy9 (talk) 19:46, 28 May 2017 (EDT)
- Is our information out of date, then? Or is it still undergoing testing at the Dave & Buster's locations? 19:59, 28 May 2017 (EDT)
- This article (written in 2017) describes the arcade cabinet coming to Italy, and this article says that the Dave and Busters with the cabinet opened on May 22 (presumably 2017). So, where do we go from here? Hello, I'm Time Turner. 20:13, 28 May 2017 (EDT)
- Strangely, on their official site with the list of games, Luigi's Mansion isn't listed (though Mario Kart Arcade GP DX and Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games are). The video Owen posted seems legit. If that's really the English title, then thepage should be moved anyway per policy and this TPP isn't needed. 20:20, 28 May 2017 (EDT)

If "Luigi's Mansion Arcade" is official, this doesn't need a proposal. Niiue (talk) 22:24, 28 May 2017 (EDT)
Here's one I took in Australia. I'm sure if you Google Image it anyway, you'll see that cabinets named "Luigi's Mansion Arcade" exist. Given this is the official English title, I agree this proposal isn't necessary and should just be moved without any further discussion. Mario JC 22:44, 28 May 2017 (EDT)
- It'd be best if the proposal was cancelled so that the change can be enacted immediately, rather than having to wait two weeks. Hello, I'm Time Turner. 23:14, 28 May 2017 (EDT)
EU Release[edit]
Hi, can someone add that it has been released in Europe, at least in the UK, as there is one in Llandudno. --Adster1005 (talk) 06:55, 25 February 2018 (EST)
- Yeah, it was definitely released in Europe too. I saw a cabinet in a mall in Romania of all places. -- -- KOOPA CON CARNE 14:46, 11 November 2018 (EST)
- I looked into this a little bit and I couldn't find a European release date, or even a hint that it has been released in Europe at all. -- Cosmic Cowboy was here 13:05, December 18, 2019 (EST)
Yes, this rings true. Perfection (talk) 19:11, 21/01/2024 (UTC)
