Strong Kong (Strongum Kongus) is one of Donkey Kong's special abilities in Donkey Kong 64.
Strong Kong can be purchased from Cranky's Lab in the area Angry Aztec for five coins. Afterwards, Donkey Kong can transform into Strong Kong by jumping into a Donkey Barrel.
When Donkey Kong is in Strong Kong form, he will be covered in flashing and sparkling lights (like Mario as Invincible Mario after he has gained a Star). In this form, Donkey Kong is completely immune to damage and can walk on things such as quicksand and lava. The longer Donkey Kong is in Strong Kong mode, the more Crystal Coconuts he will use up; if Donkey Kong runs out of Crystal Coconuts, he will lose his Strong Kong power. The power will also be lost if Donkey Kong uses a Bananaport Pad.
While in Strong Kong mode, players can return Donkey Kong to normal by pressing
