#{{User|Baby Luigi}} This note was prepared before Nintendo's fiscal year of 2015, so it is probably referring to DLC pack number 2. Whereas, regardless, it's still heavy speculation whether you want it or not, there hasn't been an explicit confirmation of any further DLC of this game, so Mario Kart 8 actually be a complete article. There isn't any rules against articles that could receive upcoming content, and I'm pretty sure the Featured Article system would allow leeway for upcoming content for a completed game, since that's a recent feature in today's games. If the said content was released and the page not updated to accommodate the new content in time, that would qualify for unfeaturing an article.

For your convenience, I will tell you that the statement about more DLC was in the second portion of the third page of the link I posted. {{User:3D Player 2010/sig}} 15:11, 13 October 2015 (EDT) | For your convenience, I will tell you that the statement about more DLC was in the second portion of the third page of the link I posted. {{User:3D Player 2010/sig}} 15:11, 13 October 2015 (EDT)
:It's talking about DLC Pack 2. Those things take months to prepare. Your oppose is very weak, for reasons I will list and I'm voting to remove it. {{User:Baby Luigi/sig}} 15:23, 13 October 2015 (EDT) |

Mario Kart 8

- Baby Luigi (talk) So, why has previous featured article nominations failed? Let's look at the reasons. Numero uno, the controls table was a sloppy mess. It was. So I fixed it. I basically split the menu and gameplay tables apart and simply repeated button inputs rather than place them in one cell: though it appears to be practical since you need to list it only once for repeat controls, placing one cell that's as wide as two has a really sloppy presentation. Repeating control inputs are easier to understand and grasp than that, so it's clearly the better idea. Deus, the NPC section was just a gigantic, homogenized list. I addressed that by creating a whamo large table about them. If platformer and other articles do tables on enemies like this, why not this game and other Mario Karts? Looks gr8, right? The NPCs that are part of the crowd get their own, simple list, since they're nothing more than, y'know, background props. Trois, it lacked information on how exactly you play a Mario Kart game. I added a beginning paragraph, basically saying stuff you do in Mario Kart games: you drive on a car against other nincompoops on an obstacle course while you use weapons to secure a victory, get enraged, and rub it in their faces. The online section has been expanded by mostly by Toa 95, so give credit to him for that. I have not located any other issues that would keep this article from being featured now, since all complaints I've seen have been addressed. Oh, I forgot about DLC. This game doesn't really have any more, so I guess all is well right now. If there any minor problems, please mention in the comments section or the Featured Articles thread, and I will get to them and try to fix them.

- 3D Player 2010 (talk) I hate doing this when there is nothing wrong with the article right now but according to a report dating back from May 7 2015, after the latest known DLC for the game was released in back in April 23, there is still more DLC coming to this game which makes this article incomplete in a way.
