A Super Mushroom can't overwrite the effect of this mushroom,[1] but they can fuse together.[2] The Luigi Mushroom has a 1 in 10 chance of spawning in when you place a super mushroom. It can be unlocked by clearing all 4 Nintendo World Championship courses. It can then be used by shaking a super mushroom in the editor.[3]
