(or just AlphaDream) is a Japanese video game development studio who are responsible for developing games for the Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo 3DS. AlphaDream has developed all five games in the Mario & Luigi series. The company's staff includes prominent developers from Square Co., such as Chihiro Fujioka.
History
The company was founded on 12 January, 2000, as a second-party developer for Nintendo. Their first game, Koto Battle: Tengai no Moribito (Japanese: コトバトル-天外の守人), was only released in Japan for the Game Boy Color on March 9, 2001.
