AlphaDream has developed all five games in the Mario & Luigi series. The company's staff includes prominent developers from Square Co., such as Chihiro Fujioka.
History
The company was founded on 12 January, 2000, as a second-party developer for Nintendo. Their first game, Koto Battle: Tengai no Moribito (Japanese: コトバトル－天外の守人), was only released in Japan for the Game Boy Color on March 9, 2001.
