The title of this article is conjectural; an official name for the article's subject has not been found, so it has been given a fitting title by the editors. If an acceptable name is found, then the article should be moved to the new title.
A Snapper is an underwater enemy in the classic Game Boy game, Donkey Kong Land. These commonly found enemies first appear in the world, Kremlantis, and later appear in many other underwater levels.
When attacking, the Snapper will clap it's claws together and and shoot up through the water. After it shoots up high enough, it will slowly float back down to the surface. If the Kongs touch this enemy while it is moving throughout the water, they will be damaged, and one monkey will run away, until saved from a DK Barrel. Snappers are normally found around several other Snappers in tight spaces, to increase difficultly of the levels.
