- “Now battle... ... hand... to... hand!”
- —Eyerok, Super Mario 64
Eyerok is a golem-like entity who appeared as a boss in Super Mario 64 and Super Mario 64 DS. He is composed of two massive, stone hands with eyeballs in the palms.
History
Super Mario series
Super Mario 64
In Super Mario 64, he was the boss of Shifting Sand Land and resided in the central pyramid where he guarded one of the Power Stars. His chamber is a platform with a pit on three sides, which is inside a large red brick block in the pyramid. He slams down his fists (taking away three points of life with each hit) and tries to push the player off the platform. The player must punch his eyes (when open) a few times to defeat him, though the player needs to destroy each hand.
Super Mario 64 DS
In Super Mario 64 DS, Eyerok makes an appearance again and his battle strategy remains unchanged.
Mario Kart series
Mario Kart DS
Eyerok also appears in Mario Kart DS, as the second boss in Mission Mode. Mario needs to shoot three green shells at any eye to defeat Eyerok.

Trivia
- Eyerok is a pun of "eye" and "rock".
- If Mario stands on the tomb where the Power Star is in, Eyerok will keep banging on the ground with its fists until Mario gets off the tomb.
- Eyerok's behavior during the battle is somewhat similar to the behavior of Bouldergeist's hands when he uses them to attack Mario during the second half of the battle in the Ghostly Galaxy and the Boss Blitz Galaxy.
- It is possible to get into Eyerok's chamber an alternate way in Super Mario 64 DS with Luigi by backflipping off of the cube Eyerok resides in, punching the brick covering the hole, and entering the chamber.
- Eyerok bears some resemblance to Master Hand and Crazy Hand
