Similar to the first level of Donkey Kong Country, this level is the first jungle level of the game, and its main obstacles are only small abysses, as well as the enemies, Kremlings and Slippas. These foes can be simply beat with a single jump. To make things even easier, Jungle Jaunt also includes Rambi. This Animal Buddy can help the heroes get though the level easily, and also find a hidden Bonus Level.

Similarly to Jungle Hijinxs of Donkey Kong Country, Jungle Jaunt is both the first level and jungle-themed level of the game. At this point, they need to hop up on a high treetop and leap off to the right side of it to get another Kong Token. After that, the characters must move on and grab the letter O, then keep going east, where they can find Rambi. With him, the Kongs must travel more eastward and climb up several ledges, until they get to the Continue Point.

From here, the group needs to continue on and jump over a few gaps. They can find the letter N soon after that, as well as the third Kong Token of the level. Moving on, they must avoid some Kremlings and soon get the letter G. Not very long after that, the group can see a portal which takes them out of the level.
