Variant of Gale Hawg

Sleep Pig Poppos are a type of Gale Hawg that appear in Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. They are blue camouflage in color, with a snot bubble coming out of their noses while sleeping.

They are generally harmless, since they only sleep. Running into or jumping onto one results in Donkey Kong being bounced back. A Sleep Pig Poppo can be attacked by using the Sound Wave Attack, causing it to flip over, dazed. It can then be punched until defeated (generally fifteen punches), causing it to "explode". They leave behind five beats.

In the original game, they have thin, straight tusks, but are redesigned in New Play Control! Donkey Kong Jungle Beat to have thicker, curved tusks, which are also given to Gale Hawgs and Fire Pig Poppos.
