Gimme a Brake is an 8-Player minigame in Mario Party 7.
Overview[edit]
The eight players ride scooters from the top of a hill down to a mud pit, attempting to stop the closest to the mud pit without landing on it. The sunny weather is sometimes substituted by rain, requiring players to stop earlier than if it is sunny, or snow, which produces ice, requiring players to stop even earlier. Any team with a member closest to the mud pit wins. In the event that either every player falls into the mud pit or every team has at least one member stop the same distance from it, the result is a tie.
The minigame title combines the phrase "give me a break" with mechanical brakes.
