The Coin Block Area is a space on all of the boards of Solo Cruise in Mario Party 7 and in Star Battle Arena in Mario Party 8. When passing the space, the player stops, a Coin Block appears to cycle through 5, 10, and 20 in Mario Party 7, or 1, 5, and 10 in Mario Party 8. The player can roll a number as if it were a Dice Block to receive a number of coins matching the exact number they rolled and continue moving.

Going on this space will make the player's character stop. A Coin Block will appear above the partier, cycling through numbers like a Dice Block; the character hits the Coin Block the same way.  The only numbers on the Coin Block are one, five, and ten.  Once the player hits the Coin Block, he/she will receive coins corresponding to the number that he/she rolled.
