'''''Ask Cranky''''' is an activity on the ''[[DK: King of Swing]]'' website. It functions as a {{wp|message board}} of sorts, as the user is able to ask any question they wish to [[Cranky Kong]], as long as that question can be answered with a "yes" or a "no". Interestingly, this activity does not capitalize the letter "I" in sentences, and occasionally does the same for other letters (such at the letter "T" in "No. that would improve your life too much").

Ask Cranky (alternatively referred to as Ask Cranky Kong) was an activity on the American English DK: King of Swing website. It functions as a type of message board, since the user can input a question to Cranky Kong, intended to be one that can be output with a "yes" or a "no" response, to be given a randomly generated response:

  • Sorry, i[sic] broke my crystal ball last week. it's[sic] at the shop. i[sic] could look into my bowling ball if you want.[note 1]
  • i[sic] see the answer. it is "Yes." Oh wait. Let me put on my glasses. Uh oh. Nevermind.[note 1]
  • Ask later. i'm[sic] resting my eyes.[note 1]
  • What makes you think i[sic] want to hear about your problems? My back is killing me![note 1]
  • MC squared. Dumb kids these days.
  • No, unless you have about 20 bananas for a yes answer. i'm[sic] hungry.[note 1]
  • An old jungle saying goes, the banana is just as ripe as a monkey with no bath. That should do ya.
  • No. that[sic] would improve your life too much.[note 2]
  • i[sic] don't know. Look at me. Do i[sic] look to you like someone who would know?[note 1]
  • if i[sic] knew the answer, do you think i'd[sic] be here talking to you?[note 1]
