Overview
The minigame takes places in a forest where there are various trees, some grown and some cut; certain areas of overgrown grass that contain flowers; and stone statues placed in the grass. There are nine panels on the ground, each marked with a question mark hiding the object image. With the player standing near the panel in the middle, the minigame then starts.

The player gets two Coins for each match, performing their winning pose each time, and win the minigame after matching every pair.

Gameplay
If the player does not match any pairs when 45 seconds are up, they do their losing pose. The player does not lose five Coins from losing, unlike several other 1-Player minigames, because they keep the coins from any pair matched.
The objective of the minigame is to match all four pairs of pictures within 45 seconds. The player must hip-drop to flip one of the nine panels to reveal the image. If the player successfully matches two panels, they receive two Coins. However, if the player hip-drops two different panels, both of the panels flip back after a few seconds. Matching objects include a red mushroom, a green mushroom, a Fire Flower, and a green Koopa Shell. The remaining panel contains a Bowser icon that stuns the player if they hip-drop it. If the player successfully matches four pairs of tiles before time runs out, they win ten Coins. If the player matches three pairs or fewer, they receive the total number of Coins from pairing up two of the images. This is one of the rare 1-Player minigames where the player does not lose five Coins if they lose.

The minigame can be purchased from the Mini-Game House for 50 Coins.

Memory Match is a 1-Player minigame that appears in Mario Party.

Overview[edit]

There are nine panels, on which the player hip-drops to try and match a red mushroom, a green mushroom, a Fire Flower, and a green Koopa Shell pair before time runs out.[1] The lone panel depicts a Bowser icon and stuns the player. If two panels with different pictures are flipped over, they flip back after a few seconds. The player gets two Coins for each match, performing their winning pose each time, and win the minigame after matching every pair.

If the player does not match any pairs when 45 seconds are up, they do their losing pose. The player does not lose five Coins from losing, unlike several other 1-Player minigames, because they keep the coins from any pair matched.

It costs 50 Coins to buy Memory Match from the Mini-Game House.
