Add/replace one of the parameters

Is it really necessary the "volume no" and "volume" parameters? I mean... isn't it normally written in the title at what number of volume we are? Wouldn't be more efficient to put the previous and next volumes sections? -- Mariuigi Khed 07:46, November 18, 2021 (EST)

Rename to Publication infobox

Rename to Publication infobox 7-0
We have infobox templates for games, films, TV series, music albums, but none for publications (books, comics, magazines…), except for this {{Manga infobox}} template. The thing is, nothing in this template is specific to manga (except for the |manga= parameter, which could be renamed to |series=) and it could be used for any kind of publication. In fact, we already use this template for various publications:

• Magazine issues: Nintendo Magazine 2024 summer, Nintendo Power issue 1…
• Non-Japanese comics: In the Palm of Your Hand...
• Picture books: Super Mario Ehon
• Perfect Edition of the Great Mario Character Encyclopedia

If this proposal passes, this template will be renamed to {{Publication infobox}} and the |manga= parameter will be renamed to |series=.
