Lottery Ticket
Sprite of the Lottery Pick in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Icon of an item from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (Nintendo Switch)
The Thousand-Year Door description A lottery ticket from Lucky’s booth. Your number's ####.

The Lottery Ticket, originally known as the Lottery Pick, is an optional item in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. It can be bought to give Mario the chance to win rewards from the Happy Lucky Lottery. Each ticket contains a random four-digit code; if Mario's numbers match those on the board, he will win prizes depending on how many numbers match. The ticket can be bought from Lucky for ten coins. Subsequent tickets with different numbers cost 100 coins. Cheating the lottery (by altering the GameCube's internal clock) will force the player to buy another ticket for 500 coins to continue playing the lottery.
