The first [[Dragon Coin]] is found between two mushroom platforms. Here, Mario must utilize the spring platforms to bounce over the pillar. Mario must run across another mushroom platform, avoiding the red [[Koopa Troopa]], to find a space between two tall pillars. At the bottom of the space, there is a [[Super Mushroom]] and a red [[Koopa Paratroopa]]. After Mario crosses over these two pillars, he finds shorter pillars that he must jump across. Vanilla Dome 4 is the fourth level of the Vanilla Dome in Super Mario World. The level uses the athletic theme. This level has many mushroom platforms and tall pillars, and features green spring platforms that serve as trampolines throughout the level.

Layout[edit]

Mario starts out on the top of a stack of four mushroom platforms. Throughout the level, Bullet Bills fire from the sides of the screen. The first Dragon Coin is found between two mushroom platforms. Here, Mario must utilize the spring platforms to bounce over the pillar. Mario must run across another mushroom platform, avoiding the red Koopa Troopa, to find a space between two tall pillars. At the bottom of the space, there is a Super Mushroom and a red Koopa Paratroopa. After Mario crosses over these two pillars, he finds shorter pillars that he must jump across. Mario then finds more mushroom platforms that he must traverse across. Next, Mario finds a row of pillars and spring platforms, which he must traverse across, avoiding the green Koopa Paratroopa and Bullet Bills. The Dragon Coin is found between two spring platforms there. At the end of this row of platforms, Mario must use the spring platform to jump over the pillar. Then, Mario finds a long mushroom platform with a red Koopa Troopa and two ? Blocks, one of which holds a Super Mushroom or Cape Feather. There are two red Koopa Paratroopas flying back and forth. After Mario jumps over the pillar, he finds a long mushroom platform, a red Koopa Paratroopa, and the Midway Gate at the top of the screen.

Once Mario traverses the mushroom platform, he finds a row of pillars, spring platforms, and pipes that he must jump across, avoiding the Jumping Piranha Plants. At this point, Bullet Bills start firing from the bottom of the screen in addition to the left and right sides, making the situation more dangerous for Mario. Mario must jump up the mushroom platforms and over the pillar, avoiding another salvo of Bullet Bills. Here, Mario finds a ? Block containing a Super Mushroom, and another Mushroom platform at the top of the screen. There is a large pit here, and Mario must jump from the mushroom platform to make it over the pillar. Mario then finds some mushroom platforms and a row of ? Blocks with a lone Rotating Block that contains a 1-Up Mushroom. After traversing the ? Blocks, Mario finds several short mushroom platforms and a pipe. After traversing across these, Mario finds some short pillars that he must jump across using some of the spring platforms. The Dragon Coin is located between the first two pillars, and another Dragon Coin is located above a red Koopa Paratroopa. After traversing these pillars, Mario finally finds the Giant Gate.
