The 100m is an event in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 where the goal is to reach the finish line first.
The gameplay is simplified compared to the regular ("Modern") version of 100m in the game. Only the /
button needs to be used and there are four runners in each heat instead of eight.
One second in real life equals approximately two seconds in-game.
