Variant of Ceiling Surprise

Purple Bombers, also known as purple danglers,[1] are ghosts that are a purple variant of Ceiling Surprises and enemies appearing in Luigi's Mansion and its remake. Purple Bombers usually appear in the same places as Ceiling Surprises, but a key difference with Purple Bombers is that they can attack with dropping a bomb. Purple Bombers have zero Heart Points, so they can be vacuumed into the Poltergust 3000 effortlessly. If the area is dark, the Purple Bombers keep returning. Luigi can extinguish Purple Bomber's bombs by spraying water on them before they explode. Unlike Ceiling Surprises, Purple Bombers do not always release a heart when sucked into the Poltergust 3000.
