I Got Banned![edit]
Hey, this is Prince Fluff.
I got banned on the 23 due to an Older, unused Account, can I have my account back because I still want to edit and things, or not?
— The preceding unsigned comment was added by 104.3.255.253 (talk).
- You already have another account you used to edit with, Magolor04726 (talk). Mario JC 23:16, January 28, 2020 (EST)
- Yes, that is another person in my family and we both want to edit and write for the shroom, but keep our accounts separate. (this is still PrinceFluff by the way, I can't write on my account)
- Unblocked the account. --TheFlameChomp (talk) 12:42, January 31, 2020 (EST)
- Thank you so much!

Autograph[edit]
I'm planning on splitting the Autographs, but I'm not sure what should be done with the two Autographs from Paper Mario: should they be covered in the same article, or different articles? I'm just wondering since I'm trying to follow your argument in this proposal, and have accordingly split Palace Key, Castle Key, and Package, but not sure what to do with Autograph. (T|C) 21:28, February 6, 2020 (EST)
- I think I would suggest keeping the Paper Mario ones together, as they are both used in the same quest in-game, and the main difference is that they come from different people. --TheFlameChomp (talk) 08:51, February 8, 2020 (EST)
Accidental sockpuppet account creation[edit]
Hello,
I created this here account (ToxBoxity64), but I completely forgot that I used to have another account on here, FourSwords4Ever, until now. I am sorry for accidentally creating a sockpuppet account. :( Should I go back to my older account and have this account blocked or can I stay on this new account while my older account is blocked?
Thanks, ToxBoxity64 (talk) 18:04, April 5, 2020 (EDT)
- Thanks for letting me know. You can continue to use this account, and I can block the old account (which won’t affect this account). --TheFlameChomp (talk) 19:30, April 5, 2020 (EDT)

Super Mario Maker 2[edit]
Just a reminder that there was a proposal about no future tense. Also, that's just a couple days or less (time zone depending) anyways, so.... Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 23:55, April 20, 2020 (EDT)
- Yes, that is true, thanks for reminding me. I completely forgot about that for a moment, despite voting on the proposal.--TheFlameChomp (talk) 00:07, April 21, 2020 (EDT)
Help[edit]
So, I need help with the catagory templates and catagorizing them, how do I catagorize them?
— The preceding unsigned comment was added by HEROWALUIGI (talk).
- To add the category to files, link them like this
[[Category:Super Mario 3D World Images]]
, with square brackets ([[]]
) instead of curly brackets ({{}}
). --TheFlameChomp (talk) 12:57, May 2, 2020 (EDT)
Thanks! :) [-]€40 vv@(talk · edits)
- You’re welcome. Unfortunately, a higher quality version of the artwork you uploaded already existed, so I had to delete it. --TheFlameChomp (talk) 13:24, May 2, 2020 (EDT)
I feel like my warning is a bit too harsh[edit]
As shown here you gave me a warning. I think it is a bit too harsh for a misunderstanding. Let me explain what I was doing.
- According to Quora and Liewire, the Wii U flopped. I changed it to unsuccessful.
- According to sources like Goliath, the GameCube also flopped. It sold less than the N64. I changed it to unsuccessful.
- The Hellen Gravely trivia contained a point of speculation. I did not threaten him, speculation is a level-one offense.
- Many sources contained reviews of Wiis (for example, here).
Please remove it or reduce it to a {{reminder}}, as a {{warning}} is too harsh for a misunderstanding. I promise I won't have conflicts ever again. BTW is it true that you can only have a reminder or lower to get promoted? If not, can an admin/patroller remove their own warnings? Thanks!
- Octo ( Octoling Rendezvous 03:55, June 9, 2020 (EDT))
- I'm very sorry, but it was agreed upon with the admins prior to giving you the warning that it would be a warning, since edit warring is a level two offense on MarioWiki:Warning policy. The warning was not due to the content or purpose of your edits, it was the fact that you repeatedly reverted other people's edits without trying to discuss your reasoning with them first. It, however, is definitely not true that you can only have a reminder or below to get promoted, if you truly take responsibility for your actions. --TheFlameChomp (talk) 06:11, June 9, 2020 (EDT)
- Thanks. Octoling Rendezvous 06:30, June 9, 2020 (EDT)
Quick question[edit]
I was going to create an article on Leaf Platform, which is literally about the leaf platforms from the New Super Mario Bros. U level Skyward Stalk and the New Super Luigi U level Beanstalk Jungle, though it's also come to my realization that similar platforms appear in the Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze level Horn Top Hop? Should I include that appearance in the article when I eventually get around to creating it? (T|C) 18:12, June 18, 2020 (EDT)
- Do you know if "Leaf Platform" is the official name for the Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze platforms? If it is, then I feel it would make sense to include them. I'm not sure if it they should be covered together if that it not a name used by both though, as they do have slightly different behaviors (in NSMBU, they grow off of the giant Beanstalks, while in Tropcal Freeze, they are usually seen falling from trees or getting lifted by Hootzes' horns). --TheFlameChomp (talk) 18:24, June 18, 2020 (EDT)
- Might have to ask Bye Guy for that. (T|C) 19:52, June 18, 2020 (EDT)
- Hey there. Looking through the Horn Top Hop section of the Prima Guide, it seems that the "leaf platform" concept is only mentioned two times. The first mention of the concept is in the "Stage Basics" paragraph, which reads as follows:
"To reach the end of this stage, you must hop along falling leaves, ride on bursts of air, and cling to grassy surfaces."
- The second mention is in the instructions for getting the third Puzzle Piece, reading:
"When you reach the leaf at point 6, look for the wooden ledge jutting out of the rocks to the right."
- As you can see, there is no proper name given to these leaves, just the descriptors "falling leaf" and "leaf". Even so, they're roughly the same concept as Leaf Platforms and so deserve a spot on that page, along with the leaves in Bouncy Beanstalk Walk from Yoshi's New Island, which I unfortunately don't own a guide for.
- Note that I only own the digital version of the Tropical Freeze guide, so I cannot provide page numbers from the print release. However, you may use "Stage 2-3: Horn Top Hop" as an exact source since that's how the respective tab is called. -- KOOPA CON CARNE 18:53, June 19, 2020 (EDT)
- It seems they really only have been referred to generically, though I would not have an issue with giving them a spot on the page, based on concept. The Yoshi's New Island also seem valid, as they are even closer to the NSMBU ones.--TheFlameChomp (talk) 19:51, June 19, 2020 (EDT)
- Which level(s) do the leaf platforms in Yoshi's New Island appear? (T|C) 18:01, June 20, 2020 (EDT)
- I do not know very much about Yoshi's New Island, but they are definitely in Bouncy Beanstalk Way, as Bye Guy mentioned. --TheFlameChomp (talk) 18:04, June 20, 2020 (EDT)

Can you block this user please? Thank you. - BigBowserBoss FIRE! 05:29, April 11, 2021 (EST)

I Lost the password to my old account[edit]
That's why I'm using 2. Cause I lost the password to that one. If you have a way of finding the password, please restore, then I'll delete this account. That's why I made this 1. Thanks.

video ref link[edit]
hello. I just recently added a vid of a glitch i encountered in 3d allstars onto it's page. about the Uncork the waterfall mission. was marked citation needed and just getting around to adding the vid. though i'm at a loss as to how to make the link the little number thing like other links. was wondering if you could fix it please. Pikmin theories (talk) 21:27, January 10, 2023 (EST)
- I apologize for not getting to this immediately myself, but it has been taken care of by another user. To make it become a reference, you add
<ref>
and</ref>
to either side of the reference text. More information can be found at MarioWiki:Citations.--TheFlameChomp (talk) 11:33, January 14, 2023 (EST)
Proposal[edit]
Hi! There's a proposal that I updated that's about to expire later on today. You should edit the support section and write down #{{User|TheFlameChomp}} Per updated proposal.
at the bottom of Shiny K-Troopa's support. Thanks! GuntherBayBeee 14:03, April 19, 2023 (EDT)
- Personally I am still considering my position on the proposal, and have not fully decided whether I am going to support it. Based on the current votes, the proposal is close enough that it will be extended an extra week, rather than ending today. --TheFlameChomp (talk) 20:47, April 19, 2023 (EDT)
