Like in the original game, the player has to remember numbers, which need to be repeated in the correct order within a time limit. One point is earned by correctly repeating the whole number sequence. The number sequence increases by one number with every earned point. After three misses, the game is over. The high score can be saved. Initially, only the D.D. shows the numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4, which are triggered with the different buttons on the direction pad. A [[White puff]] appears when the player scores 10 points, adding the number 5 to the sequence, and a [[Gugi]] appears at 15 points, adding the number 6. Those are triggered by using the {{button|gbc|A}} and {{button|gbc|B}} buttons respectively. At 20 points, a person will slowly start moving in a boat far away to distract the player.

Flagman D-D[1] (or Flagman D.D.[2][3]) is an unlockable minigame in Wario Land II. It can be unlocked by collecting every piece of treasure and winning every map piece. It is based on the Game & Watch game Flagman, though with updated graphics and D.D. taking the role of being the Flagman.

Like in the original game, the player has to remember numbers, which need to be repeated in the correct order within a time limit. One point is earned by correctly repeating the whole number sequence. The number sequence increases by one number with every earned point. After three misses, the game is over. The high score can be saved. Initially, only the D.D. shows the numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4, which are triggered with the different buttons on the direction pad.
