Color Crate Carousel is the twenty-third level of Episode 3 in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and its Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS ports of the same name.

Layout[edit]

The level itself consists of four crates that turn each crate in a wheel. Toadette starts out in the green crate, which is the first crate to connect directly to the Power Star. She either has option to obtain all of the collectibles or simply wait in the green crate until she can go for the Power Star.

Super Gems[edit]

Three Super Gems can be found throughout the level.

  • Super Gem 1: From the green crate, Toadette must fall onto the yellow crate when she gets the chance to, then the blue crate when she sees her chance to obtain the Super Gem.
  • Super Gem 2: Following the first Super Gem, Toadette must wait for the wheel to shift another 90°, then follow the railing on the back of the course to the Super Gem behind the green crate.
  • Super Gem 3: After making her way into the red crate, there's a hole that Toadette can access, leading to the Super Gem.

Pixel Toad[edit]

The Pixel Toad can be found moving quickly in and out from underneath the platform below where the Power Star was.
