8-4 Remix (Castle Labyrinth) is the sixty-fourth sample course in Super Mario Maker. It is a remake of World 8-4 from Super Mario Bros. Due to this, this level has a castle setting with an underwater sub-area in the Super Mario Bros. theme.

Layout[edit]

As the game is incapable of looping levels, the areas past the Warp Pipes the player is supposed to enter are blocked off. Additionally, entering the first and second pipes in the level takes Mario to a small underwater room with a Mystery Mushroom, which turns him into modern Mario and a Goomba, respectively. The underwater room from the original stage is mostly unchanged, except there is another Mystery Mushroom that turns Mario into a Trampoline.

Before the fight with Bowser, there are eight ? Blocks with Yoshi, Luigi, Goomba, Trampoline, Bowser, ? Block, Peach and Toad costumes.
