Room 2-Key (titled Room 1-Key in the British English version) is the eighth course of Sandstone Stroll and the second key course in Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again!.
The course features three Mini Mario toys, one of which carries a key needed to unlock the Goal Door.
Overview[edit]
The stage has a symmetric layout, featuring the Goal Door in the middle, surrounded by two yellow gates and two grids of Pink Blocks above spike pits. On each side of the stage, there are two small alcoves one above the other. The top alcoves are kept closed by red gates.
The keyless Mini Marios start on a platform above the Goal Door, facing left. Further to the left sits the Key Mini Mario, which is locked behind a red gate. Using Pink Blocks, the player should guide the keyless Mini Marios to a Red Color Switch on the bottom left. Jumping on it causes the gate in front of the Key Mini Mario to retract, allowing the toy to move freely out of its confinement. The switch also retracts a red gate at the other side of the course, opening up a Yellow Color Switch. The minis should next be guided to this switch and press it to retract the yellow gates around the Goal Door, allowing access to it. As the toys head towards the door, the Key Mini Mario should be put in front of the group in order to reach the door first and unlock it, clearing the course.
Mini Mario Card[edit]
The Mini Mario Card is located on top of the Yellow Color Switch and can be reached in the same way the switch is, described above.
M-Token[edit]
The M-Token is found in the small alcove on the bottom right. To obtain it, the minis must be led there with Pink Blocks.
